As a volunteer for the church bookkeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records of the church. This important role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in financial management.
Record and reconcile financial transactions, including donations and expenses
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Assist in creating and managing the church budget
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
Communicate with the church leadership team regularly regarding financial updates and concerns
A committed follower of Jesus Christ who is actively growing in their faith
Regular attendance at our church services
Commitment to be part of the church community
Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
