We seek a committed individual who follows Jesus Christ and is passionate about teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). The volunteer will teach ESL classes for individuals who speak Chinese as their first language. This is a volunteer position, and the volunteer should be willing to attend our church services regularly and commit to being part of our church community.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead ESL classes for students who speak Chinese as their first language

• Develop lesson plans and materials for each class

• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for students

• Communicate with students in English fluently

• Provide feedback and support to students to help them improve their language skills

• Participate in training and development opportunities as required

Qualifications

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ who is actively growing in their faith

• Regular attendance at our church services

• Commitment to be part of the church community

• Passionate about teaching ESL

• Experience teaching or tutoring ESL is preferred but not required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
